INACOM Strengthens Security Measures
INACOM has implemented a major upgrade to its internal security framework for documentation requiring official approval, following the discovery of counterfeit approval certificates in Angola’s market. As an immediate precaution, the agency has temporarily placed all certificates under quarantine pending further evaluation.
During this review period, applicants are required to strictly comply with all regulatory obligations. Non-compliance may lead to project cancellation and possible legal action.
Updated Compliance Guidelines for Applicants:
- Letter of Authorization (LoA) Verification
- LoAs must have accurate and up-to-date validity dates.
- INACOM will now reject any LoA that is incomplete or unclear, as part of its reinforced compliance policy.
- Renewal Procedures
- Submissions must include:
• The registered name of the local company
• A valid tax identification number
