Previously, Argentina ENACOM allowed manufacturers to submit foreign test reports to show compliance with the ENACOM-Q2-61.03 for GSM/WCDMA devices. Now, ENACOM has accredited a second lab for testing GSM/WCDMA devices. Since there are 2 labs accredited for the standard, local testing will be mandatory effective on February 23, 2022. Existing approvals for GSM/WCDMA will remain their valid, but renewals will require local testing after the designated date. LTE products are not impacted because there is still only one laboratory with accreditation to test LTE devices in Argentina. Foreign test reports will still be accepted for LTE products.
