Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) has updated the technical requirements for restricted radiation equipment, limiting Wi-Fi operation in the 6 GHz band to 5925–6425 MHz.

- Frequency Range: Wi-Fi 6E/7 devices are limited to 5925–6425 MHz.
- Emission Limit: Out-of-band emissions are limited to -27 dBm/MHz EIRP spectral density.
- Restrictions: Indoor and subordinate APs have additional restrictions on use in vehicles, vessels, and aircraft.
- Enforcement: Full compliance becomes mandatory on March 1, 2027.
- Existing Devices: Certified products may require hardware or software updates during the next certification maintenance cycle.
