The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) of Qatar has officially published the 2026 edition of the National Frequency Allocation Plan (QNFAP), marking a significant step toward modernizing the country’s spectrum management framework.
The updated plan aligns fully with the International Telecommunication Union Radio Regulations for Region 1, reinforcing global harmonization. It also introduces revised frequency allocations across key sectors, including mobile, satellite, maritime, and aeronautical services.
In addition, the QNFAP incorporates updated annexes for Short Range Devices (SRD) and specific frequency assignments, aiming to support next-generation wireless technologies.
