The Mutual Recognition Agreement is between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the foreign country for Conformity Assessment of testing laboratories (Phase I) and certification bodies (phase II). This agreement provides for the mutual acceptance of the results of testing and certifications undertaken by these recognized testing laboratories and certification bodies in assessing conformity of equipment to applicable technical regulations.
BACL is designated by NIST to perform in-house both Phase-I and Phase-II activities as a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) for the following economies and regulatory authorities under the terms of the stated MRAs/Treaties:
